Architecture
Architecture is a constantly changing and evolving profession. In India,
a career as an architect has enormous potential. Not only can one work on the
design and construction of houses and business establishments, but one can also
enter into various fields such as designing exhibition and sports event sites,
creating unique lighting systems, designing landscapes, and so on. By applying
innovative ideas and analytical skills, an architect can learn the process of
building complexes, commercial buildings, malls, highways, and civil
structures.
Individuals who work as architects plan, design, and supervise the
construction of buildings. After pursuing architecture as a degree course, one
can easily help build and design these buildings and windows. As an architect,
you will be able to design buildings as well as supervise their construction.
If you are intelligent, hardworking, and creative enough to plan and execute
buildings of your choice, becoming an architect is a viable option. In practice,
architecture entails providing services related to the design of buildings and
the space within the site surrounding the buildings that have human occupancy
or use as their primary purpose.

Qualifications needed for an
architecture job:
A Bachelor of Architecture, or B.Arch, degree is required to enter the
architectural profession. It is a five-year full-time program divided into ten
semesters. During the B.Arch program, you will learn about architecture design,
building management, building science and service, structural theory,
architectural history, and architectural drawings. Candidates must complete
their 10+2 in Science with mathematics, physics, and chemistry as compulsory
subjects in order to be admitted to a B.Arch course. Candidates pursuing 10+3
diploma courses are also eligible to apply for this position.
Candidates take a different entrance examination after finishing their
10+2 or 10+3. They can take the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) or the
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) (NATA). You can select a college
based on your qualifying marks in the entrance examination. If you want to
advance in your career, you can pursue a Master's of Architecture (M.Arch)
degree after passing the graduate aptitude test in engineering (GATE). The
M.Arch is a two-year program that you can start right after finishing your
B.Arch or after gaining some relevant experience.
